Playing around with the Nikon 50mm f/1.8 lens.
A noisy image of the stars in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Might work as a desktop background. A semi-interesting observaction is at f/1.8 the lens represents the stars not as a point light source, but instead as a flare from a point. If you click the image, there is a much larger copy. Email me if you want the original after processing instead of the jpeg that was saved at a high compression, there probably is only a small difference between them.
