My First Eagle Photo

I am super excited; I took my first Eagle photo as it was flying over Hayden Lake in Elm Creek Park Reserve. It is a little bigger than a black dot which is nice, but I had to crop the photo in a bunch.

The other day, I saw a Coyote up close as I was driving down 494S. The Coyote was running along the ditch right next to the freeway. Had my camera in the seat right next to me, but knew I had to drive, and I wouldn’t get a photo at all anyways due to the speed, safety etc. Sometime in the future I’ll get a real photo of both these animals!

Crocuses Appear To Bloom First Up Here in MN

Crocuses are blooming right now, and all the other bulb flowers have their flower stalks up and about to bloom. Fresh young grass shoots are coming up today, and the yard is super green. Great time right now. I love spring.

Welcome to 2011!

Welcome everyone to the New Year! I hope you were able to celebrate in your own way and have found successes last year and things to look forward to in the up and coming year.

I’m happy that I started exploring new opportunities with my camera last year, made it up to the North Shore with my home-made tent and just in general had a very busy but good time. There are many more excursions and adventures written down on my to do list for this year, and I’m super excited to start working on them. May we all have a wonderful 2011!

A few of my favorite pictures from 2010 that standout in my mind:
