Bavier http://blog.adambavier.com/?p=668 September 25th 2011 was a great day. Weather was perfect. The clouds evenly distributed themselves over the entire sky. The wind carried the clouds briskly enough that the sun poked through every minute or so.

The leaves on the Sumac trees have changed colors already. I’m looking forward to all the Maple trees turning red and orange soon.

Bavier http://blog.adambavier.com/?p=655 Went with the family to a cabin on Chisago Lake just south of Lindstrom, MN in June. Weather was perfect, lake was clear, bugs weren’t too bad yet.

These Sunfish spawning beds were interesting. While out on the pontoon boat, we saw a few of these. There was actually a spawning bed right out from the dock.

There is an Eagle nest on one of the points. Got this picture with one of the parents and the eaglets in the nest.

Bavier http://blog.adambavier.com/?p=649 Maple Grove launched off fireworks on July 16th, 2011 for the ending of Maple Grove Days. The fireworks were launched behind the Government Center on West Arbor Lake. I chose a viewing location approximately 4 miles away. After watching the fireworks right next to the lake for many years, I chose to mix it up this year.
